In this case of lattice degeneration, Dr. Uram demonstrates "painting" with the invisible wavelength laser, while visually monitoring the effect.

  • @sugarplummsmax my partner was told today that he has this (lattice degeneration of the retina), what can he expect? he has another appointment soon. he is an artist and very worried. how much does it usually progress and how long?

  • I unfortunately did not have laser surgery...I had cryotherpy in my left eye which hurt like hell. I was suppose to follup on my right eye for surgery in 2006 but lost my job and health benefits so I have been praying that my degeneration doesn't cause retina detachment. I'm in school and hopefully the recession will be over by the time I graduate so I can find a job that has benefits and I can get my much needed surgery.

  • My lasering was different. My scars look like yellow polka dots. I have annual followups for lattice degeneration.
