  • bulshit dont work on experience fighter

  • @supersaid23 Refer to my post 23 hours ago. Are you a Kung Fu San Soo student or just a thug/bully who only cares about beating people up. Chinese martial arts encompass much more than street fights. Do you believe we should throw away ALL the lessons Jimmy Woo taught that WE don't see as valuable? That makes us, in the USA, THE judges over the effectiveness of ALL those generations of kung fu people who designed Tsoi Li Ho Fut. Are we so presumptuous to think we are smarter than ALL of them??

  • These kinds of things only work when your opponent is inexperienced or you are a highly proficient practitioner (maybe 10% of all martial artists or less). Also, the strike to the neck an subsequent forcing of the head down is an unreliable move.

  • @gungnir2357 In all the years that Jimmy Woo taught Kung fu San Soo, there were literally over 1000 fighting techniques. From what I was told by my instructor, Jimmy told him that this was only about 50% of the material in Jimmy's two ancient monastery books. This art is huge and way beyond any one person mastering the whole system. No one can master every lesson application. It is designed to be a study throughout your entire life. Not only teaching you to do just simple and safe movements.

  • @supersaid23 san soo is very effective even against experience fighters and bigger guys

  • @TheGoogler77 i bet ur resisting opponent wouldnt be able to resist after having is balls yanked or his throat jabbed

  • I wish I could always use 8 moves to counter the left punch-- that would be awesome. I guess I have to wait until I become a black belt, because it's really hard.

  • I think if the left chop strikes side of neck as soon as you block and your weight drops it will work. A hard chop to the side of the neck will stun him enough for the lesson to work. You also have to realize that the lesson is demostrated very slowly, no where near combat speed. But the chop to the neck is critical.

  • I bet that stuff would not work against a resisting opponent who's hell-bent and knocking you out!

  • This wouldn't work. There's not enough time for all that twisting and turning. I've been in enough sparring matches to know I could never pull this off on anybody, unless he is letting me.
