Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont) Misleads the Country

Even Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont) could not get to finish Judge Sotomayor outrageous remarks. This video show how he actually puts quotes on a censored version of Judge Sotomayor's comments. It is amazing how a Senator can sit there on national television and mislead the country with a clear conscience.

Uh yeah, if that is what she had said for over 5 yrs in 7 different speeches it would have been fine. Leahy quoted the quote wrong, obviously on purpose. She thought she would reach a better decision being a latina woman more often than a white male. She liked saying it plenty the other times she said it, why lie?

Perhaps you should understand the point. Leahy says that he recalled the quote from memory and did not intend to leave out the "offending" remark. Clearly he is reading her supposed comments from a sheet of paper. This shows that he, like all the rest of those bastards, lied and believe we are too fucking stupid and lazy to do anything about it. You keep up all the political posturing, though, as it is doing us all real well.

Senator Leahy is a perfect example why we must elect an entirely new Government, all incumbents must be thrown out, Democrat or Republican. Anyone else read Eugene Robinson's Wash Post column yesterday? He devoted a whole article to Sotomayor's "wise latina" remark and didn't even quote the offending word--better.
