  • This is actually a problem I have with one thing I composed. It's unusual in harmony I think, in E Major and involves intervals that don't necessarily apply to the E major scale.

    The intervals do sound good kind of, but not sure if they make any sense. Does it mean that they are passing tones? What's funny is they really give the feel of leading notes in the melody.

  • Andrew, couldn't you show the harmony examples using the piano? Please do harmony :D

  • Good lesson. I had done some of this for theory well enough to pass the test, but did not understand the concepts at all. I really appreciate these lessons.
