History
Eleven years ago a horrific fire took Alice's family from her and left her mind horrifically scarred. Afterwards she was confined to Rutledge Asylum, where she struggled to confront her demons by slipping further into her fantasy world of Wonderland. Now, after ten years, she has finally secured her release - yet she still bears the heavy psychological burden of that tragic event. With her mind in tatters, she is unable to resolve the fear prompted by her strange memories, dreams, and visions. Perhaps she'll do better in Wonderland. She always has. She travels there, seeking what the "real" world can't provide: security, knowledge, and the truth about the past. But in her absence, Wonderland too has suffered. Something has gone horribly wrong, and now a great evil is descending upon what once was her beautiful refuge. Can Alice save Wonderland - and herself - from the madness that consumes them both?

It's a good game, but it is by no means a masterpiece!

It says a lot about how one can survive by withdrawing into and living within their mind. A fantasy world can be far more appealing to one than the reality in which one is alone, tormented, suffering from fear or pain. But how far can dear Alice delve? Sweet sweet imaginative speculation is served up in five course portions, five star portions chalk full of delectably twisted possibilities and demented side dished! Good game.

Ah, Alice. We can't go home again. No suprise really. Only a very few find the way; and most of them don't recognize it when they do. Delusions, too, die hard. Only the savage regard the endurance of pain as a measure of worth. Forgetting pain is convenient. Remembering it, agonizing. But recovering the truth is worth the suffering. And our Wonderland, though damaged, is safe in memory...for now.

Truly epic words from a truly epic cat in a truly epic game. :)
