"Indiana" is the name of singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin's debut release on Island Def Jam and we met backstage during the Homecoming weekend at our mutual alma mater in Indiana. This is the first part of my interview which took place on October 13th, 2007 the day following the end of his tour with Paolo Nutini and one day before beginning a tour with Kelly Clarkson.
