From Holocaust Survivor to Animal Rights Visionary
On tonight's program we will hear from Dr. Alex Hershaft, founder of FARM's annual Animal Rights National Conference, and childhood survivor of the infamous Warsaw Ghetto. In particular, my experiences in the Nazi Holocaust allowed me to empathize with the condition of farm animals in todays factory farms, auction yards, and slaughterhouses. Also featured will be Charles Patterson, author of Eternal Treblinka: Our Treatment of Animals and the Holocaust. Recordings from the AR Conference provided and available through FARM. Also, we will hear about the steak-loving cowboy embarking on a 28 Day Vegan Challenge to save his health as televised on the Dr. Oz Show.
