Undignified (a fool's rewrite/slow down version) - David Crowder Band/Matt Redman/Clement Chen

I first heard this song a long time ago played by David Crowder at this youth conference that I think was called Impact or something. The song was absolutely awesome and came complete with great joyful clapping and "lalala" section. As a young leader I couldn't wait to bring it back to my home church and jam to it with the band. Didn't quite get the lyrics of the song until a few years later, a few deserved rebuking from older more mature leaders, and quite a large number of failures. The problem was instead of becoming undignified for christ I had become dignified in myself; I became King and Christ became the fool, his praise music entertained me in my court. I stopped playing the song for quite some time and swore never to come back to it; however, some time later as I was leading praise I couldn't help but have the chorus running through my head. Following the example of the pastor of Matt Redman's church, Mike Pilavachi, I cut the noise away and was left with this. Over time I've rewritten a few of the lyrics and added a few of my own. For me this got me back to the "Heart of Worship" and also back to the heart of the song. Happy April Fool's Day. Fools worshipping the true King.
