Otto Ackermann and members of the the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra perform the fourth movement of Dvorak's Serenade for wind instruments, cello and double-bass in D minor, Op. 44 (B. 77). I recorded this track from an LP issued in 1954 by Concert Hall Society, Inc. Dvorák completed this work on January 18th, 1878; the first performance took place November 17, 1878, in Prague. Scored for 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, contrabassoon, 3 horns, cello, and bass.
