forget the schedule 2 bs. pot should be legal and a freedom of choice. its should be the burden of the government to show why they think weed should be illegal. Everything should be legal until it is proven that it is unjust, not the other way around. Weed is not only okay to smoke, but its a psychedelic that has helped me become more introspective. and if you wanna learn about psychedelics and their place in society check out terence mckenna

@steb413 no I am not a doctor, but you do not have to be a doctor to see through the false definition of "Alcoholism" (look it up) legitimate medical science has never found a genetic link to "alcoholism" (which their definition does not differentiate from a person who drinks too much, used to drink , or is physically addicted to alcohol) legitimate medical scientist do not agree that the disease exist. even if they did real science is not a democracy. that is not how science works.

Ignorance. Ignorance. Ignorance. Only reason pot remains criminal.
-
@halloranedward are you a doctor? you must be like the best doctor ever to know so much more than the entire medical community who wholly agrees that alcoholism IS a disease and that there are genetic predispositions to addiction. but they're misinformed aren't they, the entire medical community?
-
@wavejumpinseadoo Yes, saying that alcoholism is a real genetic disease is grossly misinformed. sentencing people to get 'treatment" for a fake disease is criminal. sentencing people to brainwashing at taxpayers expense is cultural engineering at it's worst. No one who has been taught that it is a real disease can even distinguish between a person who drinks to much and the "disease".

Who the hell cares about marijuana, its not a pressing issue when millions are out of work, there's a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit and we are fighting a war.
-
@halloranedward It's all a matter of terminology, but the fact of the matter is that there is such thing as an alcoholic who exercises little to no control over their drinking. Call alcoholism a disease or not, there are still alcoholics, even though the dependence is not entirely physical. Certain individuals could have a predisposition to addictive behaviour which could correlate into alcoholism, however saying alcoholism is a genetic disorder is grossly misinformed.

War on Drugs = Prohibition. We've had this issue answered for us. When alcohol was outlawed, after the under ground market was set up, there were statistically just as many drinkers as when it was legal!! The same thing goes on with marijuana being illegal except when it's illegal, children can obtain it much easier! How about we legalize it, pull the funds out from under drug cartels and stimulant our economy with it!!!!

@hanzouoftherain spill it.

@wavejumpinseadoo absolutely not, there are many addictive drugs, you can even get physically addicted to things that don't get you high, ant-acids etc. however the "disease" alcoholism is not referring to being physically addicted to alcohol. It is claimed to be a genetic disease . so is drug addiction, so is gamboling addiction, so is "shopaholism" all of these "diseases" are treated by forced government religious indoctrination. How many other diseases can a judge diagnose?
Why is Ann allowed to speak? She should have been gargling Chong's nut sack...

@halloranedward You state that alcoholism is proven to be fake, I've never read that. I have no issue with legalization of pot. I grew up with drunk parents, and I do not drink for that reason. I don't blame the alcohol, I blame those who chose to drink. I think marijuana will be much the same. There are people who will abuse it. It doesn't matter if it's dope or dog food people tend to abuse. I would like to know where the fake alcoholism statement came from? Not to argue, just to know.
