the mainstream components featured in this plane are a bliss. it's gonna be a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to maintain as a completely new approach.

Which do you think is better platform the P-8A or the Kawasaki P-1.
Both planes are launched fairly at the same time.

@drummerboy5192. I still fly on the P-3 and i agree its a was wonderful aircraft but with all the issues its had over the last few years I think its time for a change. If for anything else for safety reasons. Plus the systems are much better.

Nope nothing else but since between you and me i'm the only one with seat time on P-3 and P-8 tactical systems how about we leave the "Logic" as you put it to the experts. Also for the record no one I work with thinks this aircraft is gods gift to avation. Just a quality replacement to a very out dated aircraft.

@bbwalker665 1) Logic. I possess it, unlike most people claiming this aircraft is God's gift to aviation. 2) Around 2000 hours tactically, 850ish of those being combat time. Anything else?

@scenepointjudge What would happen to make you an expert on the P-8 and its systems? Much flight time on the Poseiden or any Tactical platform for that matter?
