How to Prevent Skin Sagging After Gastric Bypas

The dramatic weight loss that occurs after bariatric surgery can improve your overall health, curbing weight-related conditions like type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. However, these benefits do come at a price. Sagging skin is a common complaint after gastric bypass surgery. Although cosmetic surgery can help correct it, preventing sagging skin before it becomes a problem is your best treatment option.

  • @chocolatebigbutt08 Hi my surgery is January 31,12 how great. Am in Miami and am doing my surgery with Dr. Jorge Sosa and Are you in this area too?

  • IM ACTUALLY HAVING THE SURGERY IN JAN 2012, AND I WAS ALSO QUESTIONINGTHE SAGGING SKIN, THIS VIDEO DOES HELP. IM ALSO GOING TO WATCH YOUR OTHER VIDEOS FOR ANSWERS TO MY MANY QUESTIONS....ALSO WHAT IS THE BEST ROUTE TO LOSE THE COUPLE OF POUNDS BEFORE THE SURGERY?IM DOING 30 MIN TREADMILL, AND TRYING TO CUT BACK ON STARCHES AND SWEETS...ITS HARD...LOL BUT MY HEALTH AND FUTURE ARE MORE IMPORTANT.

  • im jenniferhenry35 here ladies

  • Girl how do you function properly with nails so long?

  • I believe it...just like in my opinion we look older to! a fifty year old black woman looks 15 years younger then a 50 year old white woman... so I believe you will snap right back in to place :-)

  • What matters is getting healthy, so I'm sure the "skin" will be whatever it is. I do know u can get the surgery to remove it when it is a health issue, since it can cause u to have rash & back pain.
