hi John, Was a bit dissapointed with the exception of el savador there was very little written about johnny album "current affairs" from the eighties in his new book "to the light" This was a great album and I thought a great success for him.

Glad you liked it. If you listen to the author's (Johnny Duhan) version which is up on Youtube, at the end of that video you will hear Johnny express his gratitude to Christy for having popularized the song. A great lyric with a beautiful melody. If you want to learn more about the writing of that song,and his other well known songs, I recommend you buy Johnny's new book for all your friends as Christmas present, called TO THE LIGHT. Brilliant read!!
