Chris Rolfe put the fire on top early in the 1st half, and the Fire held the lead until the 63rd minute, when 17 Year Old Abdus Ibrahim scored his first MLS goal, leveling the score at 1-1. Toronto held their own right up until the last minutes of stoppage, when John Thorrington slipped the winning goal right between Greg Suttons legs, giving chicago the win in the 92nd minute.
