Free Stuff: Unlock programs

This freeware review is for "Unlocker" (ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/). If you've ever gotten a "Cannot move or delete folder: Access is Denied" error when trying to move or delete a file, this program will allow you to see what process is using it so that you can unlock it from any processes and delete it.

Access is usually denied when you don't have admin privliges. Don't you need admin privliges to install the software?

As an experienced computer science major, I can tell the regular person that is inexperienced with a computer that this program is NOT a good idea. If the access is denied to a particular file, it's currently being used in one of the computers processes. Granted, many viruses operate like this, but most of the time files like this are not malevolent and can cause some very annoying problems if deleted.

@matrix86 acherly you cant, but with scripts you can. go to notepad, type this code below in and save as: im_stupid.bat and then run it.
