@griffallstar this is Maui's south side, so the waves are usually smaller than the north and east areas like Ho‘okipa, Jaws, Honolua. But when a nice south swell comes in during the summer months, this beach could be good for boogie boarding and body surfing.

Just curious; Public beach, or do you have to be a hotel "guest" ?

the great thing about Hawaii is that all beaches are public. You don't have to be a hotel guest to go to any beach on Maui or any other Hawaiian Island.
