@joemac356 oh get out of here you environmental psycho!
-
@nezzard oh, I was wondering why the fire was spreading and nobody was using a hose to put it out.

Enjoy it while you can. It's just a matter of time until the EPA puts a stop to this sort of practice. Too much toxic pollution of air and ground. It's bad enough when it happens accidentally.

Ok well that explains that lol... and also answers "funniedoug03's question.
-
It doesn't look or sound like a controlled burn... when you see the the fire starting to jump and when you hear stuff exploding. At least i hope it wasn't or they did a bad job of clearing the house before the burn. (Especially the DEP.)

You just can't beat a house vomiting fire and smoke!
-
i sure hope no firefighters were in their

Was this a controlled burn?
Question.... Why the hell are the second floor bedroom windows smashed out?? If this was a basement fire.. smaashing the 2nd floor windows just gives the fire more oxygen and causes it to spread faster as it did in this video

This was a permit burn to demo the house. It was basically an open field burn because there were no exposures, trees, and it was raining.
All of the windows were broken to open the house up and a fire was started near the basement door.
It is a tax write off in Maryland to allow the fire department to use your house for a training burn, this house did not meet the safety requirements for training so it was just burned without prep or removal of the contents.
