Usha Khanna is a trend-setter in the Hindi music world, establishing herself as the first recognized woman movie music director in India. With an active career spanning over 4 decades starting from around mid 60s, she deserves more recognition for her contributions in a clearly male dominated Industry.
This song, originally for the movie "Aap Tho Aise Na The", is one of her finest, and this pensive rendition from Manhar Udhas is my favorite of all its different versions created.

Lovely composition by Nida Fazli. What beautiful lyrics. Perfect blend of Manhar and Usha Khanna ...voice and music, makes it one memorable song. My favorite too.
