  • I have never stopped loving this song ever since Elephant Mountain came out and have played constantly on my guitar since. I got to see JCY in Sacramento 1978 which was a highlight for me as The Youngbloods were my biggest influence.

  • I have been looking for this song for a really long time! Ever have a vague memory of a special tune you used to love, but you can only remember a few notes or a few words? Well, I clicked on this vid by accident....and there it was!! Thanks for making me smile tonight! ^_^

  • Jesse Colin Young is one of the hippest guys who ever lived. This song was so perfect so many times in my life. There's a gentleness about it, a receptiveness to the Other, that's so rare and beautiful. The Bay Area alternative culture was wonderful, a wonderful time to be alive and young....Youngbloods indeed.

  • Actually it's from Elephant Mountain 1969 !

  • Takes me back to Mill Valley CA in the late 60's early 70's. Ahhh a Great Time. This song with Darkness Darkness and Get Together. Wonderful music, wonderful. Thank you Jesse Colin Young and Youngbloods.

  • Her voice reminds me a bit of Tracy Chapman...her voice is very relaxing.

  • One of the most beautiful songs of any era. I think just about everyone of my generation has a memory wrapped around this song. J.C.Y.'s best!

  • @LadyFuschia: Three Dog Night's "Naturally" covered Sunlight ; I often make cd's

( as I can't stand the radio crap today) and mix up songs covered by different artists; I know I am Jurrasic, but think today's bubblegummy shite sucks...Gimme the great music that had powerful lyrics, really rocking beats, and a bit of real eye candy for me to look at.....

  • @dragonflygurl4u A cover? Three Dog Night? When? Where?
