Fast forward of tarp setup on a night out in a bivi.

My eldest daughter in the video recently found out one of her school friends had sadly passed away. So I thought its a good idea to get back to nature and remind ourselves what its all about.

All in all a good night out under the stars with some useful info passed on as well.

@Danishbushcrafter thats depends where you live lol. Here in Australia we have almost everyone of the worlds venomous snakes and more in our country, not to mention the spiders and what not. they arent really something you want to wake up with in your sleeping bag.

thats why for me a 1 to 2 man tent is a better option, though i always carry a small tarp.

@marcospritz2000 In most Bushcrafters world's, a tarp is a lot more versatile, it is lighter, gives you more room and open space.

So tarps are usually preferred by us Bushcrafters...
