Horsepower/torque to weigh ratio is a big issue when going from a dead stop. I was just saying that the slower a wheel spins, the more it sqeals like a girl. If there was absolute traction on both cars, which would be left behind. It's common sense, these videos are ignorant, keep this 12 second crap off the track. Go race in an alley. I wonder why mustangs dominate the real world of the 1/4 mile.

If everyone wants to talk fair, the MINI isnt designed to be fast in a straight line. Put a MINI on an autocross course and see what happens. A stock Cooper (without a supercharger) will beat a Cobra Mustang everytime because MINIs ride on rails, and Mustangs....well they should stick to straight stretches.

I don't give a flying fuck. I know there's cars out there faster than mine. I never stated it was the fastest ever. Tony Schumacher can claim that. I said that my dragster would eat both those shit Mustangs you mentioned were so fast, and it would without breaking a sweat. I could spot both of them a 3 second head start and I'd still blow by them before the traps. I'm making ~975 horsepower with the 522, so I'm sure a 2100 horsepower car (provided it's set up right) would beat me easily.

Well aren't you stupid. I'm sure my 522 CI Spitzer dragster that runs high 7's at the strip all day long would have no problem laying waste to anything that Ford builds off an assembly line! So yes, I do have a car that not only beats that, it kicks the shit out of it. Is it street legal? No, but that wasn't a pre-requisite.
