Lots of people have been asking what to eat before and after workouts. Here I lay out some of the foods and supplements I use.

Pre-Workout: 1 cup oatmeal plan/water, 1 scoop whey protein, 1 animal pak

Intraworkout: 1 scoop Gatorade mix + water

Post-workout: 2 bananas (30g of carbs), and 2 scoops of whey protein + water

  • do you take whey protein with your animal pak? if so do you take it before or after workout?

  • @sliccflip ya, when (timing) you're taking your vitamins and protein is most not related. Yes, most protein companies pack in some vitamins with their whey protein but it's not covered as extensively as a full vitamin pack. Feel free to take the animal pack and whey protein as your pre-workout together. 0 problems! good luck!

  • and jack3d also has 1,3 dimethylamylamine which is a vasoconstrictor thats kinda like a more wild caffiene, this is what causes stim dick

  • i heard that the heat from oatmeal will mess with the protein, so its better to just drink the protein on the side. might just be a myth tho

  • im looking into starting a weight gainer, should i do take the weight gainer instead of of regular protein in mypost workout because of its high protein level?

  • Fantastic video keep up the great work Joe!

  • @joegengsta yeah that's what I thought.

  • @DBiUpload link a pic of yourself :)

  • @joegengsta 98% of them yes.

mate I'm just saying you probably could improve your pre-nutrition, it's just a suggestion. If you are eating right your blood sugar should be stable and you won't need something like "jack3d".......try maybe some grapefruit juice with bcaa's and GPLC?

I'm not trying to start anything okay :)

  • @DBiUpload Damn, then I guess every company is wrong for selling a pre-workout supplement huh?

  • @joegengsta My information is not backwards.

    1) Creatine causes water retention, caffeine causes water excretion. Taking them both cancels each other out

    2) Caffeine stimulates the adrenal gland and causes the body to release the catabolic hormone cortisol. Cortisol breaks down muslce..

Your pre-workout should be aimed at keep you anabolic, instead jacked gets you catabolic via being wired on stimulants. If you are eating right you shouldn't need a pre-workout supp.
