I've had some people ask which amp they should get with their subs or mids or which speakers they should buy for their amp. Hopefully this video will help you decide what equipment you need. It also might help you understand a little about ohms on speakers and amplifiers.

  • @casperskafs can i use an amp that runs at 1200 rms at 1 ohm if i have some subs that run at 1200 rms on 2 ohm?

  • @Alexc2777 Sure can as long as you don't go under 1 ohm. If you have 2 subs that are single voice coil 2 ohm and hook them together it will give you 1 ohm

  • hey man do your ears buzz at night from your subs, ? mine do lol

  • @marktvilbert Actually yes bro. I've heard buzzing on and off for a long time.

  • @casperskafs You guys need "Hearos High Fidelity" plugs for when you go to shows so that you can avoid tinnitus, or Etymotic Research Plugs

  • @HelloAgain151 You've lost me bro lol

  • Okay i have one "Audiobahn Alum12j" subwoofer and i have been told i should get a monoblock amp. audiobahns website says it is 1000 watts rms, 3 or 12 ohm impedance and, 3" quad 6 ohm. so my question to you is what are the requirements for the amp this sub needs(how low of an impedance and how many watts does the amp need)? Also what amps would you recommend would work good? Also what amp requirements should i go by if i am thinking about adding another sub just like it later?

  • @casperskafs basicly u need earplugs for djs

  • @marktvilbert so you match up the ohms of a sub and an amp and you also match up the RMS of the amps and the subs?
