Rule of Fifths

So this is the first song I've ever really written. I mean, I'm no songwriter or anything but the past little while has just been really rough on me and resorting to music was one of the only things that seemed to make me feel better.

This song could be about anything, but my inspiration came specifically from being painfully sick, and having a good friend lose everything in the fire in Slave Lake, Alberta. I think it doesn't have to just apply to that though. In the past few years there have been countles natural disasters that have destroyed everything in the lives of people across the world. And even beyond that frame, there are just certain times in anyone's life when we're unsure where to turn, and I guess that's what this song is about.
