@democrat10 - I wasnt drawing that equation. I was bringing the truth about our problem with an enormous loss of life , lifestyle and money here in the US. to light. Not the best or most appropriate spot for this but I want those who sit idly by and watch this or hide their heads to be more aware of it also. Face facts - when Americans have money they give money to the charitable / fact finding organizations that bring an end to terrible situations such as that in Darfur.

I have to say I agree with u. While I think its great that USA is helping ppl in haiti. People in New Orleans are still living in trailers and its been about 5 yrs since Katrina happened. We need to look after the American people here first. Before we send all the aid to other countries
