This song is special to me because I quoted the lyrics in a the first love letter I wrote 35 years ago to the spouse I am married to today. We have been happy together all that time. I changed "tiny" hand to "loving" hand, but the rest works. Oh yes, did I mention that we are a same-sex couple? Just thought I would mention it so the loving Christians on here can have a shit-fit and dump on our love.

For you it is a shame. For me, Islamic homophobia is a matter of life and death. This is why I stay as far as I can from Islam, and why I fight to the bitter end any suggestion of Sharia law or courts in our free, western democracies.

Actually, I apologized for that rant. My apology comment was about 2 months ago. I realize that not all Christians are homophobic. However, I must say that in my own experience, atheists probably have the lowest number of bigots. I am not saying there are NONE, though. BTW, Islam is by FAR the worst. Muslim countries regularly hang, torture, stone or castrate gay people.
