This part 12 starts with the speech President Kennedy made regarding Civil Rights on June 11, 1963, and concludes with the President's speech at American University announcing the Test Ban Treaty-also in June (June 10) of 1963.

  • I think the speech at American University sealed Kennedy's fate. What a beautiful statement he made that day. But he was too much of a threat to the establishment, too intimidating to rich white men who were used to running the universe. So they killed him, like they always kill the ones who try to help the most. Pity.

  • Wow he attacked communism in that last speech yet he humanized the People of Russia.Good for him.

  • That statement is a little too general buddy. Not to mention racist. Don't forget, JFK was a rich white man. Tis' better to classify men in terms of ideology and character rather than race.
