Basically this is showing what e-amuse is on DDR SuperNOVA 2, as I am sure some of you dont know what it is, or what it does exactly.

There is currently one location using this system in the U.S. however more will be added as time moves on...

  • I'm planning on purchasing a DDR SN2 machine, but I have some questions. I'm going to look into getting one with the E-Amuse addition to it. How would I be able to obtain a card for it? :s

  • @ddrlear You can't run e-amuse on it unless you live in Asia (period). Even if you live in Asia your venue (aka wherever you put the machine) has to be approved by Konami and contain a static IP address. So even if you get a machine you will never obtain the e-amusement service. And if the machine is offline you won't be able to use the readers to use the cards either.

  • @xkonsentox Thanks for the info! I'm assuming the arcade in the video is in asia or japan?

  • @ddrlear Nope. This video was taken in Naperville IL. There was supposed to be an American release of e-amuse but there is a long story behind it. Basically it was thrown out of the picture due to lack of support from arcades.

  • @NibblerFox Its not a problem :p Sadly there is no e-amuse in America. This was the only machine that had it and no other arcade ended up adopting it. There is "Programmed World" which uses e-amuse cards and the e-amuse service though but it won't transfer your data from Konami servers sadly.

  • @xkonsentox Wait, so I can use my Japanese e-amusement card when I go back to America? Excuse me if I'm annoying you with all my random questions. :P

  • @kunchwa6 Japan. No arcades in America currently have a functioning e-amuse reader. The very few people that have a card are extremely lucky so far as it may prove to be a very rare Bemani item.

  • where and i get this e-amusement pass??

  • ok thanks..

  • You can't. It even says so on the back of the card that Konami is not responsible for lost or damaged data. That is if they have not changed anything since then. Actually in Japan I believe you CAN back up your data, but I am not sure how. I can't read Kanji, and I can only understand some Japanese.
