The Himno del Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno was written by the late National Artist for Music, Maestro Lucio San Pedro. I am proud to have been his student in composition. The hymn has become the undying anthem of the devotees of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila.

I recorded the hymn because I once served at the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene as church organist and instructor of the Young Nazarene Choir.

  • @TheAudric09 It's all right. Everybody commits mistakes. Only God is perfect. God bless you.

  • @ alimozerine mali ang Aral mo ang aming buhay nyo dapat po ay Aral mo ang aming buhay hindi ARal mo ang.. at dapt silent h un pinipintuho

  • @TheAudric09 Thank you for your kind comment. I just based that on the piece I got from the Basilica which is the handwriting of Maestro Lucio San Pedro. I will still look on it though and research if "h" is silent in pinipintuho. Can you clarify your comment regarding "aral mo ang aming buhay"?

  • @alimozerine search nyo po nuestro padre jesus nazareno sa search bar sa youtube all small letters po

  • @TheAudric09 I got it. But when writing lyrics of a song which is usually a poem, one has to start with a capital letter. One more thing: We capitalize the first letter of a name or a pronoun when it refers to God as a sign of high respect. In this case it's "Mo". This is also the reason why some writers sometimes use all caps so as not to fail to capitalize the first letter of any word that refers to Jesus. Thanks though for the view and the comment!

  • Yes, I am telling you the truth, God hates idolatry, it is Exodus 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

  • @MrAlbertwade2010 God also hate people who are judgmental to others even you do not know what is this stuff all about..Don't interfere with us Catholics..go get a life..God bless you.. :))

  • God hates idolatry.
