Yeah i totally agree . Best ploughs made for all types of soils . It ranges here from peat to very heavy soil and all the trash is buried. We have seen other ploughs struggle to bury trash in the peat type soil . Have to say ur "ins and outs "at the headland look great . Ever try the slated boards? . . Suppose to break the sod better ?

@7810turbo1 Thanks the ins and outs on the headland was difficult in this situation caused by using one hand the other holding the camera....;)
Slated boards? Guess that is "sliced" moldboards. They work only on light soil and most fields around here are very heavy clay.

what kind of power is required for 8 furrows, she looks blue.headlands look very tidy and all the trash buried, job well done

@7810turbo1 --- The power is depending on the clay, this field do have pretty light soil so I think probably about 200hp. But on tougher clay you need more, this TG 285 has 285hp and it could do with one more furrow. Kverneland ploughs in general hides all trash well and turns the furrows very good compared to other brands.

how do u line those front ploughs up!! Looks bloody hard!
georgew7530 3 years ago
Very simple! frontwheel on the frontplough goes in the furrow and it actually stays there very good the it just to follow. Much much easier then it looks. Compared to a 8 furrow semimounted plough this is like a dream.
