i see the harm right in broad daylight in these videos! schools should have NO right to drug up the students. it's no wonder the school i went to were all zombies in the student body. i took immipramine for almost two long months, and all it did, was made me barf my guts out, and i'd also cry as well. no kid should ever have to be required to take that stuff, just to be able to attend school! that is my final word on this segment
I think it is a given that medication is not a cure for any type of mental/emotional distress, and that the world is immensely overdiagnosed with disorders they dont have. But this video offers no information outside the negative impact of psychiatry, and fails to offer any thoughts on improve the issues at hand.
The problem with this documentary is that, while having many valid points, is aimed primarily at defaming psychiatry itself and because of this, does not give a very complete picture of the nature of its ailments.
@shagamanx2000 the point is, the guys from this film are right, you realy never get to be healthy to the eyes of those people. (once again excuse my bad english)
i have a good story my self: at highschool, i only got the best grades (in one of the best schools at my country), also succed at sports and had a good social life, good relationship whit family, etc. it wasnt about being special or anything, it was just my way of life, yet, in some college they told me:"we are going to accept you but we are concerned with your personality test, so we sugest u attend one of our psicologist"
This video has been really informative.. I've been diagnosed with a few mental disorders, including Asperger's Syndrome, severe clinical depression, anorexia nervosa, general anxiety disorder and some other things i can't remember. is it really all a lie?
@belladonnasix "I think it is a given that medication is not a cure for any type of mental/emotional distress..."
Did you really mean to say that? I shouldn't have to point out why that's wrong.
