  • Help button (low right corner) unfortunately does not work (in either my Music Creator 5 or just bought Home Studio 7 XL).

  • @rusradioru Does not work, as in does not open or does not display information?Contact Cakewalk's Tech Support at 1 800 Cakewalk for more information.

  • I am pretty green to synths. tts-1 is the first i've atempted to use. i have midi in/out keyboard to maudio 410

  • Have you adjusted your latency in Settings | Audio Options? If not, go there and move the latency slider towards "Fast" Let me know if that helps.

  • yep ive tried that. it is set all the way on fast and still get latancy but only with the synths not when recording audio. when i move the buffer i get the same latancy on both audio and synth

  • Ok, you should try contacting tech support, I work in Marketing and my knowledge level only goes so deep. This sounds like a simple configuration setting to me. Support is free.

  • How do you get to use this alongside 96KHz, as we're told we can?

I realise it becomes limited to 2-channel, but I can't find where to make the necessary adjustment(s) and find myself stuck with the resulting mis-matched sample rate noise :-(

  • @plasmaforce11 Bit of a late reply, but Sonar's Step Sequencer allows any number of beats (for strange time signatures), any number of steps (for complex drum sounds), plus swing controls, and since it controls midi via pitch, it can also be used for other soft synths.

  • @wilky1189 There may be a midi controller event that sets the patch back to the default/specific settings. To delete it in Sonar, select the midi sequence you're working with, then go to View > Event List. Right click on the events and deselect Notes so you can only see the controller events (highlighted in red). If you see anything related to patch changes or the like, delete them. You can add more by going to Insert > Controllers.

  • i have sonar 8 producer, and whenever i try to edit my sounds (4:00), as soon as i press play on the project, all the settings go back to normal. what am i doing wong?

  • for drum sounds could this be somewhat similar to 16 steps on an 808 or 909? just curious

  • Thank you! I'm sittin' here trying to figure out all this Sonar stuff and your video(s) helped me tons!
