@docbipe most feel the same way...but during Katrina when a boat load of 2 dozen troops all geared up come ask you to hand over the guns or they will talked them you will either give in or die fighting, unfortunatly even though some of us are all ready to go and what not the government will always out power us in weapons and people, so ultimatly we hope nothing bad happens...

The guy I heard this from is pretty intelligent, and I think it's correct. Please tell me if I'm wrong. I heard if you produce porno in your garage and you have a gun, they can't take your gun, because in times of emergency you might be shooting porn.

There is no such thing as "cannot" or "not allowed" to seize your guns or anything! It's like the draft. As of right now, there is no military draft, but in the case of a big war, guess what, that little hurdle is changed. Those may be the laws on the books as of RIGHT NOW, but come SHTF, your local Mayor, Police Chief, or even Governor, will throw those rules to the side. I'm hiding my stuff! "Sir where are your guns?" "Um, the group before you came and took them all away, they went thataway!"

In ny they can take our guns from what i read but that doesnt make sense at all if they plan that there will be armed robberys why would they make us defenseless

@ryanjcus Ryan, why "get involved"? So you can cast your vote and "feel" like you did something? You can't prove votes count anyway. I dislike this whole "if you don't vote you can't complain" mentality. I'm all for getting someone like Ron Paul in office and like minded people in legislatures, but I can't prove that voting does a damn thing except act as a placebo.
