I 've never heard so much rubbish in my life, there's no sole origin to today's electronic music, but one thing is for sure, Afro-American music brought electronic music alive, not Kraftwerk! Varese was making electronic music 40 years before these lads, even in the UK, Joe Meek was mixing pop music with electronic sounds in the 1950s and 60s.

@DroiidLife Skrillex owes his LIFE to Kraftwerk! They've been around pushing the envelope for over 40 years. They are responsible and have contributed to everything electronic you hear nowadays. What has that little pissant Skrillex done? Killed dubstep! That's what he's done!
