The use of cars has been brought up in comparing them to guns regarding death rates - my alternative to guns is non-lethal weapons ~ which can be just as effective as guns short of murder/bullet wounds (also mind the incredible statistics in the UK & their strict gun laws).

Now what is your alternative for cars? What is just as good as a car but doesn't risk death?

@MarkimusPrime100 your right guns dont kill people by themselves but you are far more likely to shoot someone if you on a gun and thats the point he is trying to make. kids without guns in there homes dont bring guns to school or acidentilly blow there own fucking head off. if you want to have a gun fine but you should have a damn good reason for getting one, have a permit (which should be hard to get) and be subjected to phycological evaluation first.

@UneditedIssues I agree with you on the gun safety. Let's not COMPLETELY outlaw guns, but let's do a lot more educating and maybe a little more regulation. That way, it can help keep more people alive.
