Pokemon Battle Revolution - Nov 21 09 A

The Usual Suspects!

Its been almost a week since I last uploaded any battles, I thought I 'd use the time to help support others who are either New or Old to Pokemon. I've seen some very very interesting posts and I'm starting to realise how important PBR is to a lot of people.

I won't be uploading Double Battles as much as I feel that a strategy is way to easy to construct. I have many plans and ideas for Single strategies. Although I haven't involved myself in the Tiers discussion over the past week, its definitely gotten way out of hand. On that note "PLEASE" lets not discuss that on this upload in particular, instead I ask you to embrace and enjoy whats on offer.

Heres another battle featuring the Alicia pass, and I think most of you have seen or know slightly what this team is capable of. Running into such opponents is no stranger for Alicia's Team. I was a little worried about the opponents Pokemon, as I know how often it is that these sort of teams like to take advantga of Protect and spam hard hitting attacks when you least expect it!

Togekiss was scarfed, which did not surprise me at all seeing that most are nowadays. Taking advantage of flinch hax is a little unfair in my books, but thats just my opinion. Gyarados and Arcanine make a great partnership if your using physical based attackers. I bet I caught my opponent off guard whent they realised the only physical presense was Lopunny.

Slowing down that Togekiss and rendering Gyarados useless were my only objectives in this match. The rest of the opponents team I did not care about. When Snorlax appeared I knew I was going to have it hard, perhaps a lot more difficult than I originally thought. Most Snorlax carry Thick Fat! so I gambled with Toxic. I would have skill swapped its ability if it were Immunity, as Espeon can be quite the diva when she wants to be :)

The opponent used Togekiss, Arcanine, Gyarados, and Snorlax. I chose Lopunny, Mantine, Vaporeon, and Espeon.

BTW in your description, you say sunset, but this is sunny park. Great battle btw. Havnt seen a Mantine on wifi at all yet. =(

Too bad you won't be uploading doubles much.  Singles are boring to me. Too many switches. I don't think strategy is that easy to make for doubles since the majority of people I battle don't have one.

I'm gonna try and show a creative side to single battles, like I have done for some of the single teams I've produced so far.

For me Doubles hardly require my knowledge to form strategies within, even when facing an opponent with none. With some predicting skills you can pull them off a lot easier.

Not sure if you saw Espeon's move Skill Swap, thats what I would have done if it were Immunity ;-)

i just came across the most annoying uber user ever on wifi.. he used deoxys (focus sashed) Mewtwo (focus sashed) yanmega (focus sashed) and darkrai (focus sashed) it doesnt get anymore annoying than that... i had to kill each of them twice haha.. i dunno why i cant run into people like you on wifi.. i always get matched against the A holes

i ran into a player who had a salamance and a garchomp i really over estimated him his salamances move set was dragon claw head butt rock smash and fly and his garchomp was shadow claw and strength no ev training horribly move set all around

my umbreon took care of both of them with payback and toxic

mantine is cool

i was gonna use it in a team since im getting the game for christmas im thinking of a team.but instead im using crawdaunt, nice battle btw :-)
