how to back up your iphone contacts the right way (very important).flv

the most important thing is that when you create a new contact on your iphone is that you save it's phone number as: mobile , home or work , that way the phone number will be saved on your computer on your windows contacts , if you save it as anything else , only the contact's name will be saved in your windows contacts but not the phone number ,you will see the contact's name but if you double click it you won't see any phone number, so you won't be backing up anything , go ahead try it , create a contact on your iphone, save its phone number as anything exept: mobile , home and work , sync it to put it in windows contacts,and then reput it on your iphone , you will lose the phone number , i don't know why anyone hasn't mentioned this before , i think it's the same with microsoft office outlook , i haven't tried it , but i think it's the same.

another important thing , if you want to backup your iphone contacts on your sim card , (this is true if all the sim cards in the world are the same ) , is to make your contact's name and your contact's phone number , do not exeed 20 letters or 20 numbers , this include spaces and evrything , because the sim card only reads the first 20 letters and numbers . if you want to try it also , download "simanager" from cydia , this is the source: http://sinfuliphonerepo.com .

i have with some contacts that i have a phone number and an email adress.

but sim manager only save the phone number and not the email contacts.

and if i sync my iphone to my google account or something it sync all email contacts that i don't wanna on my iphone.

so my question is how can i backupp my email contacts

@12rens i don't know anything about google account , but what i can tell you is , you can back up your emails with windows contacts , on your iphone , select your contact , click edit , you will see "email" somewhere , save your email there , and sync your iphone ,it will be saved on your windows contacts on your computer , that's it , tell me what happens with you 12rens .

@GuyTar95 click on the vista logo on the bottom left of the screen , type in the search area , windows contacts , then when it shows you "windows contacts" , click on it , that's it .
