I didn't see this clip as a "lesbian thing" Amid all the stigma and the dark culture that the japanese people personify, this was a true woman who trully cares about life and the living. I rather found it refreshing and very close to the heart. Suggestion: Think about retitling the clip. It was an inappropriate title.

sorry to say but this is not remotely romantic... she loves her student yes, but this has nothing to do with a lesbian relationship. i perfectly understand that not all lesbian relationships have to do with sex and kissing and erotic relations, but there was not air of love here other than that of a very good teacher trying to save her student. in fact, i wish i had a teacher like her >x<

Good movie, good acting. Good job. Although, like the other comments, I didn't detect any lesbian hints in this clip. True, they have a close student-teacher relationship but no implied romance here.
