lol, in america, the south tried hard to leave. the north still makes movies about them that shows how much they hate them, and how stupid and ignorant and etc, etc, they are. In the latest movie "the Help" a southern woman is served a pie made of excrement. Its the highlight of the movie, (and a window on ny/l.a. levels of creativity, lol) Maybe that's why they hate the south. People in manchester are probably just fabulous and it's envy like here, lol.
