Cholera plagues Afghanistan - 21 Oct 08

As if living in a country at war was not bad enough, the people of Afghanistan are battling a new outbreak of cholera.
 
At least 20 people have been killed so far - most of them women and children.
 
Health workers blame poor sanitation and a lack of clean water.
 
Dan Nolan reports from Afghanistan.

what happens is, they do there buisness on the land, then rain, flood, and transportation of dirt, get carries to the rivers, contaminating them, but contaminated drinking water is mainly from animals shitting and living in the water rather then humans

Cholera comes from people shitting in their drinking water. Or fixing their sewer systems up.

You don't have to be rich to know to shit in a hole and then cover it up, and not to do it a few hundred feet from your source of drinking water. Some people in this world are just dirty people and don't know the meaning of sanitation.
