Ranger Nation grew on MySpace as a fan site to give Ranger fans the news and content they desired.

After about 2 years, Jonathan Ragus, the owner of Ranger Nation, created www.nyrnation.com. Ranger Nation started to take the internet by storm with their great content featuring writers such as Patrick Hoffman from Kuklas Korner, Daniel Akeson from The Hockey News, Doug Fischer, Jon Lane from SNY & YES Network, Cris Italia, Rob Kowal (Host of NY Hockey Talk on 1240 AM WGBB) and many, many others.
