@ToxicOdiousOne Jefferson I thought was a Whig... but he did help form the Democrat-Republican Party in I believe 1828... both parties later broke apart but none of either parties intentions reflect who they are today.

2 fighting COCKS?? what that means

@ToxicOdiousOne Of course, he wanted people to be left free to pursue their own interests and acknowledge God(inaugural address). Govenment only exists to secure our Rights to simply exist in a state of nature, free to fail or succeed.

@braddyboy82 Pretty bold statement there Brady bunch. Go read "Cat in The Hat" and get back to me, though that might be above your reading level.

Jefferson was not a liberal progressive globalist Democrat? He opposed federalism so he favor a state's rights to decide issues? He wanted a small government? Are you saying he did not favor entitlement programs such as social security and welfare?

Jefferson is truely one of my heroes! I see Ron Paul to be a modern version of him.
5:43 It's too bad Federalism wasn't sunk into an abyss from which there was no resurrection.

@benyaminvip Cock is short for cockerel (what in America is called a rooster). 2 fighting cocks = a cockfight.
