The old Hebrew children's song "Shir La'Yakinton" (Song To The Hyacinth) is dedeicated to a very dear baby-girl, a relative of mine, who celebrates today her 1st year birthday. Happy Birthday To You! May your life be as beautiful as you are!
Love you, Vered (Rosa)
The words, written by Lea Goldberg, tells about the moon who is watching every night the flowers in our little garden, and asks the clouds to give drops for the Hyacinth.
The melody was written by Rivka Gvili.
Sung by Rosa (Vered) Wol, acomp. by Dorin Chay Margalit on the guitar, at the opening of Yuval Kanev's paintings exhibition at Hasimta-Theatre in Old Jaffa (June, 2005)
