Almost everything I post here is in an "easy listening" style. Nothing fancy, and very little improvisation (if any). I love songs with beautiful melodies and I prefer to let the melodies speak for themselves.

Note: All of my "videos" are for listening pleasure only. I don't own a video camera and don't plan to get one. I just enjoy making music. I hope you enjoy listening.

Nice tone! This is just my interpretation of the song but I think it should be more slow and laid back. As in behind the beat.

And how did you create that midi background? It's fantastic!

I use multiple methods for creating the midi backgrounds. Sometimes I write them from scratch in Sibelius as if I was composing a score for live instruments. Sometimes I start with basic rhythm section ideas created with Band-in-a-Box, then I take it into Sibelius and rearrange it until I'm happy with it.

I have been playing this at a gig the music i have is in 3/4 but I prefer it in 4/4 time

I don't know if it's just me, but it kinda sounds like your saxophone needs a bit of fine-tuning.

Still, absolutely amazing; you should try to play this with a real jazz band... I'd love to hear it live.
