@ppreku I bet you have Justin Bieber hair, don't you? You're a coconut head, aren't you?
Because have you seen the mohawk David Beckham has? That is one of the best haircuts ever designed, that's what the top 3 hairdressers in the world said in 2009. Watch this video:

Skip to 0:27. That is also a mohawk, a good looking one.
What does a hairstyle have to do with parenting? Nothing. And I'm guessing you might be a good mom, but a bad individual. Why would you critisize other people when you aren't even flawless. When you make statements like the one at 0:21, you really look like a bitch. You can't judge people if you don't know their full attentions. So think about your lines and statements a little more before recording and uploading.
Unless your style befits having kids w hawks, I think it's sort of forcing your child to get attention that they haven't asked for. If they ask for the hairstyle, that's a whole different story.
I agree. Kids will do crazy hair things when they hit adolescence, no need to get them started in the cradle. And my opinion? The bo-hawk, pho-hawk, Mohawk, call it what you want, it is not a good look on anyone at any age.
It opens up a bigger question, which is mostly - are kids expressing themselves, or are parents expressing themselves? Mohawks on babies aren't about expressing themselves any more than matching BabyGAP or a Janie & Jack.
I think this is too firm a stance and therefore just as ridiculous. Expression isn't something that should be looked down upon with such an enormous blanket.
I guess you can hate on a trend or fad for being that.... but to question whether it is or isn't good parenting to express oneself either through their child, or as a child is harsh.
However, I hate to judge too much on Miss Judgey McJudgerson - I'm sure the firm stance and snarky delivery are good for the blog traffic... Snark on lady!
This isn't such a big deal... I mean, at least not to me. If the kid isn't an accessory (not around the parent all day) then it's a way for them to have their own identity, as you said. And remember, you're also in the LA area with a lot of posh moms - you're bound to see this in excess more than I am here in Georgia.

No. No. No. No.
Can we *not* do bohawks?
Furthermore, can we never speak this word again?
Thank you, bye.

I hadn't thought about it too much. If it's for a special event, then it doesn't bother me, but for everyday living? Just seems like a waste of time.
