Congressman Mike Pence gave the following one minute floor speech decrying both the bigoted vandalism of criminals and the smearing of law-abiding citizens who oppose a government takeover of health care.

  • Except it wasn't a government takeover of healthcare.

  • I used to live in Pence's district and wish I still did so I could keep sending him back to Washington. The day the bill was voted on, a couple of Democratic Senators were already trying to tie opposition to the bill to the couple of isolated incidents that had happened outside the Capital, insinuating if you opposed the bill you were a violent racist. They were already using this very tactic. It was disgusting.

  • GO Patriots!

    FREEDOM! It's worth fighting for!

    LONG LIVE THE REBELLION!

  • Unfortunately, it is the ENTIRE MEDIA that is complicit.

They preach on about fairness and how their position should not be abused, but then when anyone refuses getting screwed by the government, they RUN ALL OVER US.

    How dare they!

  • Perfectly said. Our representatives should use good sense and not feelings to make laws.

  • I want more free market competition among insurers, not a government takeover. I have always worked hard to ensure that my family would be insured. Now I feel as though that hard work was not appreciated, but rather, that my work will be taxed to death as well.

Profits help companies with research and development. We are heading down a regressive path where innovation will not rule the day. We will all be poor now. It makes me so sad for my children.

  • WELL SAID, Mr. Pence. Thank you from the bottom of this mother's heart.

  • WELL SAID, Mr. Pence. Thank you from the bottom of this mother's heart.

  • So true! You are fighting hard for us all, Pence! Keep up the amazing work!

  • yes, let's stop pretending, media people, that the left is filled with such well-meaning people.

That's a total load of garbage.
