Famous Studios Popeye the Sailor cartoon. Popeye and Olive Oyl are cruising along in the desert (presumably the Sahara) on a hybrid (half camel, half car). When stopping at a desert filling station, Olive fantasizes about being romanced by a sheik. Well, she is in luck as a nearby sheik lures her away to his home in the middle of the desert. Now, Popeye must go win her back. The Paramount logos on this cartoon are the original ones.

  • i'm i the only one that notices that olive oyl is probaly the biggest animated whores to ever be created?

  • @riker2011 Let's just say she was very fickle.

  • @LatinaInSydney This could be in Morocco. France owns the place. He probably learned English from the French.

  • My God! Is that spinach?! It looks like dirt to me.

  • olives a slut

  • Why is in this episode Spinach purple??

  • Popeye: HEY YOU! keep your eyes on the road. LOL!

  • Am i the only one that notices that Olive is either a real shallow whore or a good old fashioned mysoganistic portrayl of woman? Haha, and Brutis' charactors are almost like rapists, like Pepé Le Peü haha. The classics are timless brilliance. Even Top-cat and The Flintsones, always boozing it up, playing pool, getting arrested and running into "the Mob". old cartoons teach you way more about life than any new show. Besides maybe South Park, Boondocks, Moral Oral, Xavier the Renegade Angel etc..

  • @hackensac haha, i think it was just a joke dude.. Everything in good old cartoons is just a cynical parody of the real thing

  • @LatinaInSydney many wealthy middle easterns were and still are educated in France or in french. Sheiks, princes etc.. are famous for speaking French. After all, round about that time many middle eastern countries were occuppied by France/the French Foriegn region
