hello, your video was helpful. Im converting my tiller outboard to controls and your video gave me some ideas and insights as to what is involved. Thanks for taking the time to post
My boat is set up just like yours,,where did you get the big eye bolt that screws into the fly wheel? This is very helpful,,THANK YOU very much for your post mine has been very tight over the past couple of years and I know that I will be stranded if I dont get-er-done!
Thanks so much for the video. I am actually fitting my steering cable on a replacement engine and cannot fit the steering tube inside the engine, any ideas? Any idvice is greatly appreciated
Thank you so much for posting this video. My cable just snap yesterday. I had no ideal on how to replace it. Now I think I can tackle it myself. Thank again.
Thanks a million for taking the time to post this video it is really helpful to those of us that haven't dealt with this problem before. I was just under the dash of my recently purchased boat trying to figure how this all worked and getting no where decided to look on you tube and found your post. I now understand the concept of rack steering and can go ahead with the replacement. I will remember this in the future and try and pass along the favor with some DIYs that may help someone else.
