no offense meant, but the jewish ashkenazi culture was heavily influenced by german literature and music. If u can understand yiddish, u won't have trouble getting around in Germany as u will be able to understand German language...

Klezmer is one of the most under-rated stylez of music in the entire world. It almost makes me want to move to Israel.
