  • @brianm19 Um, I bought some of those "civilian MREs" just testing them out, and they taste like ass. SO bad. Not even ok. And I LIKE squirrel. So just saying. Those are bad.

  • I have the same little camp axe, and i love it, like 5$ at the hardware store lol i love the nightvision too, the magnum has me jealous though, i've never gotten around to buying one

  • Smash your TP to save room& put it in a freezer bag to be prepared against water damage. also-More food-dude!!! Unless you are a super expert on what to eat in the wild-or love to eat worms& bugs-pack more food!! Also a couple vienna sausage cans-or tuna w/ the self-open seal would be good;a couple bottles of water for startering off.I know it will add to the weight-but could save your life,if you can't find any water in the first few days. can opener would be good too.

  • best one so far. though this is the forth survival bag that hasn't had a map.you will never get that tarp back in. damn things never fold up that well after use.lol.

    thank you for the ideas.

  • I'd check where you are against the navy madrid line earthquake map. When it goes there will be huge tsunamis so you should consider some kind of floatation device. I have a life jacket and arm bands for my backpack.

I think it is a good effort, I am new to prepping but got lots of tips from freedom4kaz's clips. I'd maybe squeeze in a bit more food. I wish I was free to get a gun like that. Got to avoid those fema camps.

  • great start, i would alot for more food and get the tent.

  • Great job Brian! This is what its all about, doing with what you can! Great great vid! Thumbs up!!!
